Artist History
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California to Portuguese father, and Brazilian Japanese mother, she began her music career at the age of 6. By the age of 14, she asked her mother to buy her a keyboard. Her mother agreed under that condition that she form a band. Believing in keeping her word, Lea joined a band "Reaction" in which she was the only female keyboard player. They performed around the area for three years at which time Lea decided to pursue music on her own. By 1993, she aquired a publishing deal with EMI publishing. Her goal has been to be a successful producer, who can compete with her male counterparts, such as Teddy Riley, R Kelly, Neptunes, and others. She has had the pleasure to produce music for such artists as Tu Pac, Yo Yo, Adina Howard, Denni Hines, and more. She is looking forward to reaching the top and continuing from ther |
