Wonderdrug is a psychedelic power pop band from
Indianapolis Indiana that blends the psychedelic intuition of San Francisco
psychedelia with the raw power of alternative rock topped with a healthy dose of
sugary pop sensibilities. Wonderdrug has reached near-legendary status is
the Midwest, frequently receiving airplay in Chicago, Indy and Cincinnati.
Wonderdrug's truly unique sound is sometimes referred to as "Space Rock,"

Artist History
Wonderdrug formed in 1996 and released their debut CD,
"Hi!" in May, 1999 after releasing numerous indie singles. Wonderdrug is
the undisputed club favorite in the Midwest club scene and has also opened
for such acts as Local H, The Cranberries, Cracker, Matchbox 20,
Semisonic, Soul Asylum, Everything, Verbena, and Vertical Horizon. Noted indie
producers Eric and Marc Johnson formed Wonderdrug after collaborating in
the acid core band 15 Minutes. Kelly Milligan and Thom Braun come to
Wonderdrug from Mellencamp sideman and Arista artist Jimmy Ryser. |
