Artist History
The UGA History Tour
UGA has been a creation of two guys David Ward and Craig Danz. They don't just do Drum and Bass, they are also stepping over into all categores such as Techno, House, Garage and Trance. They have not limited themselves to one sound. The musical impression they get comes from groups like Aphex Twins, Chemical Brothers, LTJ Bukem, Roni Size and his crew, Army Trio, Moving Shadows, Dream Team, 187 Lockdown, Blacksabbath and many more musical artists that we look up too (These are just a few names).
Dave didn't get in to the music scene until he was trying to make a name for him self MCing for Techno and Hardcore. This continued for a couple of years. Dave stepped out of that scnce for a while and then met up with Craig one night and decided to get together with him. Craig has been DJing since 1994 and wanted to get into the producing business. Through the years 1994 - 95 Dave and Craig where DJ and MC together. But Craig moved away to DJing around europe until early '99 where Dave had got some money together in Craigs apsence and started to get some equipment togerther. Upons Craigs return, Dave had already begun to look into producing music and invited Criag to join him.
This was just the begining of UGA
Where the Music is going?
In the next few mouths they are looking to get some vocals to some of the tracks taking them to a new level. Dave is looking into some programs to create there own videos which should be out later this year with any luck. They also have few more ideas that are in the pipeline which will be heard of earlier on next year. So stay tuned.
New members
They have added one new member Adam who is doing some drum loop programing for them and they are very pleased with some of his work and are looking for a vocalised for there next project.
10/09/99 Craig has now left and gone DJ'ing again but will still have input into some of the tunes |
