Artist History
Tuffy was formed in '97 by Pete (guitar, vocals), Steve (vocals, bass) and Amy (drums). Motivated by mutual music interests, the trio started playing a mix of cover and original tunes. Barry McGrath joined the group in '98 as a singer/guitarist. Barry, Steve and Pete all contribute to Tuffy's original material. The band continues to confound the local Seattle music scene with its unique brand of hellfire garage pop. Look for Tuffy at local Seattle clubs like the Sit n' Spin and The OK Hotel. |
