Artist History
Tony Auton has been a popular face around the Manchester music bars for 5 years. His bands have been varied and at all times successful. On the recording front, the debut cd 'LARCENY, TREASON & TULLAMORE DEW' was released in early 1999 and presented at MIDEM in Cannes, Southern France, to critical acclaim. Currently Tony's new line-up 'THE TRAUMA' are playing warm-up gigs around Manchester prior to a Scottish tour in the Autumn. Planned releases for late '99 / 2000 include a new studio album, 'in the can' but as yet untitled, and the 'Kitchen Acoustic Demos' also due for release on cd. The track 'Breaking Down' is featured on the Raw Fish Records Essential Songwriters Album 'WORDS AND PICTURES' (rfrcd5). |
