The Romantics come from the idyllic Wye Valley in England, and started as a four piece line-up with John Perkins, his two sons Tim & Dave, and Simon Ferris.These days only two, the writing team, John and Simon are continuing with the recording of material for a new album. Favourite Bands and influences: The Beatles, and a wide range of other music ranging from Classical to heavy rock, and even soul music. |

The Romantics assembled in 1992 when the first album Mon Amie was released in Europe, followed by a single from the album, Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder. This single achieved airplay all across Europe, most notably on Radio 1 in the UK. |
