On Friday, May 1st along with the Mary Love, 20 Cent Crush, and Lassie Foundation - Drummed rocked the roof off of the Troubadour. Drummed is made up of three guys and agirl. The girl is Moni Ritchie, lead vocalist and guitarist, who captivates the audience with her beautifully haunting voice. Moni and her friend Tony Scarpa, drummer and synthesizer, co-founded Drummed in the summer of '97. Tony's incredible performance on the drums and synthesizer add the ultimate and final touches to the textured music of Drummed. Bassist and accompanying vocalist, Chris Van Waner, was the third member to join the band in November of '97. Not only does his bass playing blast the songs into the next level of greatness, but his sexy vocals are what adds that extra bit of spice to songs like "Bugs". And in March of '98, the final piece of the puzzle was in place with the addition of Rob Campanella on the guitar. Along with Moni, Tony, and Chris -- Rob evokes the dark, deep beauty that explodes onto the stage and becomes the incredible music that is Drummed.
