Artist description
Owen Duffy, 22 year-old singer, songwriter, and guitarist, has been been playing music for over 9 years with a variety of bands. Finally on his own, Owen has been playing gigs around the tri-state, building up a devoted fan base.
Growing up in a small creative community in New Jersey, and later Connecticut, Owen took immense pleasure in the freedom his family gave him to explore the world. When the family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, he began playing the guitar and immediatley realized that he had found his true talent. After graduating from high school in 1995, Owen has explored America, from working on a barge on the Ohio River to road trips with friends through Texas and Montana. During this time, Owen wrote songs and took in local music scenes.
Writing songs since he was thirteen, Owen has now developed a style that blends
his musical influences. He has the simplicity of Buddy Holly with the intimacy of Chet
Baker and Jeff Buckley, combined with the textured dynamics of Radiohead, creating a
sound that mixes vintage with modern.
This demo displayes Owen's own style. He reveals, |
