Artist History The project Obscura Nocte is born in December 1997 from the encounter of 2 musical creative minds placed on 2 different music scenes; this union provokes the birth of a particular style, characterized from the mixture of many sounds. Mattia (guitar) veteran of experiences from hard-Core to the pure grind/death metal meets the doom mind of Ciro (voice) supported from multiple musical experiences between which the only truly worthy are Beyond Redemption from Ancona. After long line-up changes they meet Matteo (drums), drummer of hard-core stamp, and the precious collaboration of the polystrumentist of the Rising Moon, Angelo R. to the keyboards; unfortunately the lack of a bassist stablily inserted has provoked not little limitations. For that it regards lyrics concept, the group is pushed towards an inner search in revaluing the darkish side of the human personality (from here the definitive idea of the monicker). Obscura Nocte plays psycho doom metal at extreme levels.
