Artist History THE MEGA MEN met through a mutual friend in 1994. This was a fortuitous union, you see both were no strangers to the business. DJ DIMENSION has been spinning for over ten years and has played at some of NYCs hottest nightclubs; The ROXY, OCTOGON and LIMELIGHT to name a few. In addition he has promoted several of his own dance parties. In May of 1996 DJ Dimension set a precedence on 89.1 FM WNYU THE CANDY STORE radio show as their first guest DJ. BIG WILL ROSARIO has been producing and playing records for well over a decade. He is not only known for his House hits LA SOCA & LA FIESTA on Strictly Rhythm Records & his remix of BLUE MOON ORCHESTRA produced by John Robinson, Nervous Records, which flooded the dance floors and radio airwaves in the mid 90s. Big Will has also been credited for his production contributions on several Hip Hop and breakbeat releases on such labels as NERVOUS RECORDS, AV8, & DOLO Records with several of his Hip Hop tracks being featured by the likes of MARLY MARL, COCOA CHANEL, TONY TOUCH, FLIP SQUAD RADIO & FUNK MASTER FLEX. The Mega Men began collaborations almost immediately upon meeting. Their first works were picked up by the BML label & included on several of the labels compilation releases. The tracks included ranged from House/Trance to Drum and Bass. They have also appeared as a remixing/producing team on the highly acclaimed Strictly Rhythm label under the pseudonym GHETTO STYLEZ. The Mega Men also have remixed the single I LOVE YOU MORE by King Street Sounds recording artist Kimara Lovelace, the song generated a huge buzz around the world & topped the Billboard Club Play Chart at # 9. For the new millennium The MegaMen premiered on SWEATIN RECORDS, with The SWEATIN ALLSTARS EP. During the 2001 Winter Music Conference The MegaMen appeared at Club N (South Beach , Miami) showcasing a DJ set which featured masterful turntablism on 4 decks and MC Big Ro hyping the crowd, the event received praise from club owner Gerry Kelly as well as esteemed reviews from SpeedGarage.com . Other recent performances include a live webcast of of their weekly show THE GHETTO SOUL SESSIONS at Club Liquids, NYC aired on DownShiftRadio.com. Current studio projects include remixes for Rhumba Jams & Twilight Technologies as well the hot single YO SHORTY featuring MC Big Ro on WAAKO RECORDS. The MegaMen... continuing to make strong contributions to dance culture, in keeping A DIFFERENT STYLE OF SOUL alive on dance floors all over the world
