Artist description
MAN MOUNTAiN jr cannot easily be described as what they are, but more in terms of what they aren’t. MMjr is not a hip-hop group. Neither are their rock, pop, reggae, soul, or jazz. MMjr is not fusion, rather more along the lines of organized confusion. Basing their songwriting on no style in particular they somehow manage to create a blend of everything and nothing at all. Some songs lean more toward a rock edge, while others sway with hip-hop or reggae tinges. Throw a splash of bluegrass and funk and you might have another track on the album. The MMjr experience is just that, an experience. No two songs are alike, yet at the same time they are not all that different. Their unifying factor: universality. MMjr makes music for people who love music. Period. |
