Artist History
GREYTOWN was formed in Houston, TX in the spring of 1995 after Jonas Velasco and Jonathan Marshall left their former band Atomic Opera. Sharing the same musical writing styles they began writing together and invited Micah Huggins (who's father also leads a musical career as the lead singer for The Galactic Cowboys on Metal Blade Records) to add his talented keyboard playing to GREYTOWN. Micah's brother Shane soon followed suit bringing along his bass. GREYTOWN has been playing in and around Houston for the past 4 years and have recorded 2 full length cds and a 3 song EP during the 4 years that they have been together. They come forth bearing wonderful gifts to populate musical cities with song. As of December, 2000, JOYERRATIC was formed. The band's first show was March 2nd, 2001 at Maryjanes in Houston, TX |
