Artist History
It has taken a few years to build ECP to its current state. Sam Gray, Nate Schwalbach and Gary Bacon started playing together in 1997. Shortly following, Jason Milliman brought his funky self into the scene to fill out the rhythm section. Finally, rounding out the last key role Eric Johnson made himself known as a much-needed member in 1999. The rest is, indeed, history. |

Group Members
There are five people in ECP. The six-string axe man, Eric Johnson oozes sonic textures that may not be suitable for small children. On the four string fretless, Jason Milliman lays down the drippy funk for all to enjoy and earns his keep as a part of one of the toughest rhythm sections around. Speaking of rhythm sections, Nate Schwalbach and Gary Bacon work the skins on everything from bongos and congas to djembes and timbales. Finally, Sam Gray owns the throne. The king of funky beats, he keeps the band in check and in sync. |
