Artist description
Eat A Peach is causing a stir in the stew of todays music. Blending rock and blues in varied amounts with tasty flavors, theyve expanded their reach beyond their local Midwest stompin grounds to include fans as far away as Europe. Eat A Peach alludes enthusiasm and dedication, not to mention talent and a sincere passion for music.
Distinctive vocals, dual guitar harmonies, searing keyboard solos, and dynamic rhythms weave in and out of two, self-released albums, Turbulence and Thunder (1999) and Bound To Shine (2001). The live shows are commanding, and the band has independently toured to spread their music around the country. Theyve had the honor of sharing stages and venues with such legendaries as Carlos Santana, Roger Waters, Marshall Tucker, Jimmie Van Zandt, Blue Oyster Cult, and Jacob Dylan and the Wallflowers. While their calendar fills and tours are planned, Eat A Peach is currently concocting new tunes for future release.

Artist History
Eat A Peach began to take form in 1995 when founding member Curt Sanders and a group of musicians got together in a garage with the intent of paying tribute to one of their many influences. Steadily growing as a independent band, this group of well-rounded, multi-diversified musicians began adding their own original material into their shows as they entertained at local establishments, benefits, festivals and private parties throughout Indiana and Illinois.
With the completion of their 1999 debut CD, Turbulence & Thunder came the opportunity
to open for such great artists as Carlos Santana, The Marshall Tucker Band,
Roger Waters and Blue Oyster Cult.
They have also had the privilege to work with such production companies as
SFX Entertainment, Jam Productions and Limited Access Entertainment.
Labeled Most Promising Artist of 2000 at the Annual Midwest Music Awards and keeping
their roots held firm in southern flavored, bluesy rock, Eat a Peach has broken new ground with
Bound to Shine, adding new dimension to already fertile territory and giving them the opportunity to tour the Midwest & South Eastern USA including a performance on The Chicago FOX Bandstand
at The Annual Taste of Chicago, July 1, 2001 and recently as the opening support act for
Jakob Dylan & The Wallflowers at the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville, Indiana on July 7, 2001
and Jimmie Van Zant on July 20, 2001.
Bound to Shine is the second release from The Peach and reflects their
solid commitment to the spirit of music and the passions it yields.
One thing is certain, Eat A Peach music is addictive, bringing fans back for more with songs written and performed to perfection. From mellow jams to danceable rockers, they’ve captured the spirit of music.

…suitably bluesy slide guitars, testifyin organ, blustery boogie and swagger-filled, don't-tread-on-me tales…
BANDS OF DIXIE MAGAZINE - FRANCE - JOHN MOLET, Editor
I see one problem - how to get the CD? Why isnt it distributed in a big country like France. BANDS OF DIXIE actually has a solution for what has been forgotten here in music, Have them tour France!
