Artist History BLOCKAGE hails from Southern California's Los Angeles and Orange counties. Taking their name from a friend's ill cat "Gordo", the band spewed forth in 1998 to punch out its own version of loud punk-fueled rock 'n' roll. Building on influences varying from Old School Punk, Classic Rock, and 1950's Rock & Roll, Blockage blasts its own distinct sound, never pandering to a specific audience or musical preconception. They base their songs on the belief that music should be as much fun to listen to as it is to play. The cat eventually recovered and can tinkle freely. ©1998-2002 Blockage All rights reserved
