Artist description
Like the USA, Banana Fish Zero is bold, brash, and new, with roots in England. Echoing AC/DC, T. Rex, Black Sabbath, and The Cars -- sometimes within a single song -- Banana Fish Zero's sound is a vivid blend of guitar rock, glam, and psychedelia. |

Artist History
Formed in New York in 1996, Banana Fish Zero consists of guitarist and singer A-man, drummer Charlie Uranus, and bassist Prince Hal. A-Man and Prince Hall grew up in the same Hudson River town, banging their heads on the punk rock scene at New York City venues like the Rock Hotel, the Ritz, and CBGBs. Charlie Uranus met A-man in Ohio, where the two were failing to attend classes at different colleges. They left the heartland for Seattle in the late 1980s and played in a succession of bands there. Since reuniting in New York City as Banana Fish Zero, the trio has released three CDs on their own Barkaboon Records label and played a variety of venues in the East Coast |
