Artist History
Canadian songwriter, moody, bluesy, original chording, suggests Dylan, Dire Straits, but you're not going to get off that easy... After restraining herself for a long time Sally went surfing yesterday and none of her freckles fell off... As a kid, my heroes were comics and scientists... A typical pop star might as well have been wearing a placard across his chest which said "I'm ignorant, have no sense of values, and am suffering from low IQ." In 30 years nothing has happened to make me change my view...In my youth I loved mathematics - it seemed to me to be the closest thing to the truth I could get to - u have to come up to it - not bring it down to u ... Algebra teaches us about the simultaneous processes of abstracting the real and realizing the abstract...Music, represented by black notes on white paper, a truly international language... gives us an opportunity to express powerful emotions that speak in wondrous tongues...I hope my music brings some pleasure/relief to your life... I have lived in 3 cities: Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto, and each has given me something unique that I treasure. Thank you Canada. My mind is in many places, but my heart is in the Canadian Maritimes - Soon I will be coming home...Thanks to Fred Wheeler and INDIEJOURNAL (www.indiejournal.com) for reaffirming human integrity, TOOMBS MUSIC/Charlottetown, P.E.I., Dr. Wayne Olsheski - who wouldn't give up on me even when I was ready to give up on myself |

Cool music!!!!!!!!!! Most of all I like the variety in your songs. Soft pieces combined with cool guitar solos, I love it. Guido Moortgat, Belgium SCHIZOPHRENIC WALTZ Now This is A Very Good Song. Clean Guitar..I love this voice..oh..I really love this singer....this is fantastic..and I gave you 5 points..wait..this sounds like ..oh man..what is that song? Well it is awesome nonetheless..I wish I hadn't given everyone else 5 points..cuz this one needs about 20 points. PUNK is great. Good luck! macacamulatta - The Emerald City, Hell A, California yeah Great quality song, your singer's voice kinda reminds me of garfield from the cartoons! hilarious! iam2cool4u - New York Refreshing Dylan-esque delivery on the vocals. Works well with the lazy feel of the guitar. We like it. grease_cutter - Portland, Oregon great song! I started out not liking this song...I think maybe the intro is a little too long, but now I can't stop listening to it! :- grahmcrks - Tucson, Arizona ROCK HARD! This song is so good! I love it! Keep up the good work! shpidah - Shoreview, Minnesota Cro mags and fear look out! cro mags look out! this release has a very smooth but raw and very nice sound. in fact this track sounds a lot more spunkier than the latest from both cro-mags and the latest by fear. treknut - Huntington, West Virginia Yeah Yeah, I like the ska-ish type sound in the beginning. yeah iam2cool4u - New York dylanesque with wonderfull guitar All of the good parts from bobby D but fresh with a sweet guitar guy I liked it all around well done I would like to see it played at a intimate club the production is supburb orangepunk - Orangeville, Ont, Canada kicks ass this sounds good, i like it a lot princcce - Upland, California good solo i really like the intro to the song... celery_stalker - Rocklin, California Where's the pit when you need it! This song could be a hit! This song has great energy! jsavko - Portland, Oregon Bob Dylan with a latin-twist. Exactly. Very interesting combo to my ears. I hear Bob Dylan being very cool with a Latin/rock/Dire Straits Mix. Do you hear it too? Great sound. Drum drumdrum - Dallas, Texas UNCLE HARRY JUST WANTS TO BE HAPPY An instrumental world This is the first time I listen to an instrumental track on garageband. I think maybe we're sometimes too much used to have lyrics in songs. The melodies ton this one are awsome, and the acoustic gives a vibe no other instrumentations would have given. Amethys - Contrecoeur, Quebec, Canada Save Our Ship! In a sea of atonality that thinks it's melody, in a dark night of cacophony that masquerades as worldbeat rhythms, this tune floats threehundred feet above the surface and shines out as a pulsing melifluous beacon to those of us gasping our last breaths as we sink. Ski - Raleigh, North Carolina Bravo Nice instrumental.. Put's me in a 'summer' sort of mood. I bet this sounds great live. Bravo. Not much I can say besides I liked it and that it's a shame stuff like this isn't played in stead of crap like the Backstreet Boys. I gave it a 5. MrBinky - Athens, Ohio I liked it and will listen again The soft guitar and sweet draw of the simplicity was adorning. Waiting for vocals. Guesss there may not be any. How quaint. a good song none the less. Outson - Clearwater, Florida Unplug yer guitar and chill out If I was stoned at some coffee shop in a small town this would be the song I would wanna hear. DagNabbit - Ferndale, Michigan Hey now... listen to this This is one of the best songs that I have heard. There is a mood to it, and I can tell the people are playing with emotion. I do not know whether this song needs lyrics but maybe some harmonies will make this song a hit. GREAT JOB!!!!!! #1 #1 #1 jclass - Woodstock, Illinois Instrumental Love Whoa! Excellent instrumental. Guitar gives an instant mood. Great track for couples : moose67 - Altadena, California SAD EYED BLUES Heart and Soul Amazingly beautiful soulful and yearning vocals. A voice that really haunts and stays with you. The musical accompanient seems like a leisurely sunday afternoon stroll meandering along with enchanted reverbed guitar work. A song for twilight with your loved ones. Simply superb. thingummy - Detroit, Michigan haunting vocal/haunting guitar/hit material! good, good ideas in production needs to be better produced but very creative i'd be interested in hearing other tunes very interesting guitars Anonymous - Peoria, Arizona wow...this is pretty damn good.... reminds me of radiohead.......sounds really original..... i'd redo the vocals....some parts are out of key....but it's really really great. but the out of key thing is sorta cool..... oh my god...this is really good.... Anonymous - London, Ontario, Canada BILLY VON BILLY Beautiful Teetering I really like the viola-like guitar sound sprinkled around the acoustic, and even more, the notes it plays. Nice changes throughout, and a coffee-drinking vibe without being a cliche. Has Native American elements to it, a kind of Spiral Stairs off-kilter-ness to it but very solid. Beautiful song. guilden - San Francisco, California after school special, nifty freaky funky little monkey Anonymous - Kingsville, Texas My Guinea Pig likes this song too. TheGreenHornet - Fort Worth, Texas space......... this is some wonderful guitar work, beutiful moving music as well. if you guys have more stuff than this let me know. gizmo - Salt Lake City, Utah CURIOUS! this is the most original awesome track i have heard yet on g.b.com, no kidding. I loved the track so much it made me sad when it was done, it makes me curious too hear other tracks from this band. fisterthe9 - Owosso, Michigan Doodling at its finest. Like hard hitting musicals not make you cry. Anonymous - Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada Just left of your brain, hang your coat on the nail.. A real nice Ambient sound with interesting experimental type guitar things. Personally I love, probably won't every sell in an alternative type market though. Anonymous - Wheelersburg, Ohio Reviewer: Digital LoFi /traxinspace.comDate of Review: 9/19/2000 10:49:00 AM Overall Impression: 8/10 Review: LoFi guitar jam with accompanying drummachine. Although there are errors, and altough the whole track is well below production standards, the harmonies and the atmosphere are simply that great, that at least I can't really complain. Maybe the lead guitar could be a bit less present, but anyway, this is a great track to have for the evening and the late night hours. WOODSTOCK BLUES "Imagine a drunken Bob Dylan jamming with a stoned Neil Young. And you're probably still not even close." craig@lowfidelity.com I downloaded your Woodstock Blues, I think it's brilliant Christoph Brachmann/onetakerecords.de If you like the Velvet Underground you'll dig this! I hear alot of influences on this one.. Like Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground. Nice vibe. Anonymous - New York Crazy and cool and weird. Very cool tune--great interplay between the weird vocals and the overdriven guitar. Feels like Joy Division meets Television, and maybe just a splash of something more organic like Jonathan Richman. Punkish, rock, very original but not unfamiliar, makes me want to hear more. JohnCoketrain - Little Rock, Arkansas Oiginality Counts liked the song alot, I dont think I've heard too many songs like it. It reminds me of the song 'Weird Science.' Its cool because it isnt a copy off other bands, which there seems to be alot of lately. You might want add a catchy refrain or something, but other wise good job. Meg7 - Palos Heights, Illinois Reviewer: Stany /traxinspace.comDate of Review: 9/21/2000 9:30:00 AM Overall Impression: 9/10 Review: Very beautiful piece, a song I would like to have in my winamp playlist. Easy listening to it, a little repetative at moments, but that fits with the style of the song. Enjoyable for various kinds of listeners. The samples this way make a 'live' impression; lowering the vocal line and making the instrumental parts louder would be fine, and also, bacause of the mp3 format of the song, it shall be amplyfied more, so the volume level balances with the standard mp3s in the playlist. Arrangement: 9/10 Arrangement Comment: Excellent arrangement, all the instruments are well balanced together, some guitar solo would be appropriate at the middle or at the end of the piece. Sample Quality: 9/10 Sample Quality Comment: The drum section could be improved by selecting louder samples. The guitars are excellent, the overdriven and the rythm guitars both. Does It Work as a Piece of Music: Yes Does It Work as Music Comment: The only thing that bothers is the fact that the song would sound better if it was a minute or so longer; it ends up a bit unfinished. RIFFOLA BLUES Nobody has to move over for you this is Original I would definitely buy this song if the vocals were just a tiny bit louder hell I might buy it anyway. Have a CD? pulletstudio@home.com Alright, Pretty melodic. Very laid back. The type of song very you can see yourself sitting out on a beach kickin back enjoying the scene Anonymous Make this LOUD! I like the down mixed vocal but stuggled to hear it at first . . . then I turned it up real loud and it worked just fine. Tom Waits meets Surf music Anonymous cool, it sounds bluesy (that's good) Anonymous BIZARRE BLUES IN B KOOLEST GUITAR WORK guitar band vocals awards pump_music_usa - Coca Beach, Florida MANUELS DREAM Terrific work results in terrific song! devlina2u - Pompano Beach, Florida Nice mellow song Nice Bob Dylan like sound. I like the guitar best. MavericTalent - Radcliff, Kentucky Liked it As a fan of accoustic Zep. I II and III, I always like to hear the infuence whether intended or not. gitslinger - Huntsville, Alabama spirit this song is pretty cool. it catches the spirit of the lyrics, even though the rhythm is not perfect. in fact it works well as played and recorded. saufresse - Bay Area, California KATHERINES ROOM gimme a shovel wow! what a cool ,eerie sounding tune. i really dug this alot.the guitar was just right. the singer ( and sure this has beensaid before) sounds like DYLAN . im easy ,so it all works for me mm1964 - P Town, Illinois great song Probably one of the best I've heard here Alex_Zappa - Bologna, Bo, Italy THE TWIDDLE Singing the Blues with style This kinda has a Dire Straights vibe to it. Nice lead guitar. Pretty cool take on the blues. Sounds fresh, which is hard to do with the blues. Again - the guitar player rocks! Anonymous - Omaha, Nebraska pass the spliff, Good groovy surf style. Anonymous - Rohnert Park, California A flash from the past, Your influences come out in your music. The song sounds familiar already. Sounds like Black Magic Woman. I like how the guitars are arranged. They were very catchy. I would like to hear more diverse vocal Anonymous - Lake Mary, Florida aggressive, straight-up rock, huge riffs and guitar driven melodies. interesting, and pretty energetic. Anonymous Good work! This song ruled because it was slow and the voice was nice and had an alluring sound to it. I felt like I was listening to Jefferson Airplane. It was really nice to hear but its not rock music, its got more influences in it i think. Good work! Anonymous BLUES TO GO They have a lot of potential. These guys (and girl) obviously are a tight group, they are good musicians, they know their stuff, and the song was pretty good. I don't know how much of a market there is these days in the mainstream for their type of music, but there definately are a good deal of people out there who would really enjoy hearing these guys on a record label Anonymous - Plymouth, Connecticut Shes gone baby! Great tune, the band was just a little loud so it was hard in the beginning of the song to hear the singer. Bu the lead guitar was great. But then I live the blues. Anonymous i'd definitely see these guys live. the vocals are muddled, but sweet sounding. the guitar is burning, Anonymous - Radoford, Virginia Reviewer: Bryce /traxinspace.comDate of Review: 9/25/2000 8:59:00 AM Overall Impression: 9/10 Review: Great low down blues. I liked it. ALLAVERA 5 Stars - Creative songwriting and Fun to listen to! Cool guitar solo, and sax, as well as other interesting sounds. Dire Straits?, No. B-52'S.? No. You decide. riffage/ronniestewartgroup TOUCH THE STARS mellow and melodic, floating on a mushroom buz Anonymous - Hamilton, Ontario, Canada tha ambience, This would have to be one of the nicest songs around, the guitar shit is really good Anonymous - Salt Lake City, Utah laid back and mello, It's cool I can see hitting the boy and diggin this. Anonymous - Brandon, Florida HENRY'S BLUES right track entries Your band is on the right track, you are all great players, but the vocals need to be a little more involved. Great sound. Anonymous Mellow Music Madmen, good mellow music i could see putting this on at night to fall asleep to(i mean that in a good way) Anonymous - Mobile, Alabama Allman Brotheres live again, Reminds me an extended Allman Brothers jam. Ya know after they been playing for 4 hours and its near the end of the show. The song has a nice groove to it tho. I could listen to it again but its definitly mood music.
