Artist description
My girlfriend wanted me to say this: Sweet, simple insightful songs about everyday life from a young guy. Rocky relationships, love, growing up, and coming of age. I wanted to say this: I think my music is pretty straightforward and accessible. That said, I like there to be a lot of contrast between songs. I like variations in rhythm, instrumentation, tempo, emotion, subject matter, recording sound, etc. I like things unpolished, I like things to feel live and sort of rough. Also I like humor, both intentional and unintentional. I like to be slightly arty but not necessairily serious. |

Artist History
I started taking piano lessons in second grade. I started writing my own songs in eigth grade. I played drums in a band in high school. When I came to college I more or less had to put music on the back burner. About 3 years ago I started pursuing music seriously and formed Electric Happy Hour, who you can hear at www.mp3.com/electric_happy_hour. Recently I started compiling recordings of my own music that I've made in the last few years, which is what you hear here. |
