Artist History
Currently playing solo, Steve has had his share of bands. All his life he was told to shut up and stop singing because he sucked. He then formed Suzie Skwirl in Brussels, Belgium, which lasted about a year and a half. Once Suzie Skwirl broke up, Steve began organizing a benefit concert for Amnesty International, and decided to put together a 'one time' band of talented musicians in the area to play cover songs. He then met Andy Barrow, an extremely talented guitarist, and the two decided to make it more than a 'one time' thing. They formed Tryst (http://www.mp3.com/TrystNet) and released a ten song CD to the delight of many. Tryst sold @ 200-250 copies by hand, with a few copies getting into the hands of large bands such as the Deftones, Linkin Park, Adema and others. Sadly, Andy moved to Miami and Steve decided to venture off to college in Seattle and has since begun his solo career. He's auditioned several local musicians to play with, but none have seemingly 'fit' with Steve. |
