some melody-chord head arrangements where
effective. The Blues in Bb you will hear is one

Artist History
I am a guitarist playing in the classic jazz guitar style, featuring solo guitar for intimate and quiet listening enjoyment. I call it "parlor jazz" performed on electric guitar.
My first guitar teacher was the late Don Merthe of Lorain, OH. Then in college I met and studied under the late Don Hemminger, a jazz guitarist from Orlando, FL. I hold a B.S. degree in pharmacy from the University of Toledo, and practice pharmacy as a vocation.
My experience is a culmination of playing in large and small jazz groups featuring songs from the vast catalog of American standard music. Eventually I saw the need to go solo and perform background music for private social occasions.
To facilitate my other role of teaching guitar, I have available my book entitled: "JAZZ GUITAR CONCEPTS", a collection of my guitar lessons for jazz guitar.
Thanks for making the music of my life, the music of your life.
