Artist History BLACK TRINITY WAS FORMED IN 1997 AFTER THE BREAK-UP OF CLEVELAND,OHIO'S NOCTUARY.BLACK TRINITY THEN CONSISTED OF SURT ON DRUMS AND VOCALS AND HYMIR ON GUITAR AND BASS. AFTER ACOUPLE REHEARSAL DEMOS WHERE MADE THE BAND WAS PUT ON HOLD. HYMIR MOVED AWAY AND THEN SURT WENT AND JOINED SANCTORUM AND THEN FORMED MYTH.SURT REALLY WANTING TO COMPLETE BLACK TRINITY QUIT MYTH AND ASK MYTH GUITARIST SHADOWTHORN TO JOIN. NEEDING A BASSIST SURT ALSO ASKED MYTH BASSIST SHROUD BUT THIS DID NOT LAST LONG. IN NOVERBER 2001 HYMIR WOULD THEN MOVE BACK TO CLEVELAND AND REJOIN THE BAND ONCE AGAIN. SURT THEN WAS IN SEARCH OF A VOCALIST AND CONTACTED OLD NOCTUARY AND SANCTORUM VOCALIST HELLFROST. WITH THE BAND ALLMOST COMPLETE BLACK TRINITY RECORDED A 3 SONG REHEARSAL DEMO ON 5/25/02. BUT THE BAND WASN'T COMPLETE YET SO SURT CONTACTED HIS FRIEND ARAWN AND ASK HIM TO PLAY BASS AND HE JOINED AT THE END OF JULY 2001. AFTER SOME GIGING THROUGH THE SUMMER AND FALL HELLFROST DECIDED TO QUIT THE BAND TO CONCENTRATE ON HISBAND THE GUTTERVAMPS NOVEMBER 2002 SHADOWTHORN WAS RELEASED FROM THE BAND. BLACK TRINITY IS NOW A 3 PIECE BAND.SESSION MUSICIANS WILL BE USED FOR LIVE PERFORMANCES. But the music is good enough to appreciate the talent of musicians from Ohio who blend black and metal influences to create own style which should conquer many dark hearts and souls.
