Artist description
TheGoodPoetsAreDead range from shrieking riffs
that seem on the verge of losing control, to mind
numbingly rythmic breakdowns that hold an utter
contempt for the convention of "time signatures".
The good poets have led smashed lives and have the
scars to prove it. Wielding thier sound almost
like an implement of destruction, smashing through
the "mom and pop" style of music that has been
candy coated and shoved down the unsuspecting
throats of the youth of today. Thier shows havinge
an almost "fight club" atmosphere, fans knowing
each other by odd purple marks on the flesh, or
the ocassional black eye accompanied by drops of
fresh blood on thier clothes. With anthems such
as "blood rinsed from porcelain" and
"illusion of youth" they make thier distaste for
this life and the next, a household moniker. the
only thing that can rival the intensity of thier
sound is the ecstatic chanting of their following
as they hurl themselves into the sonic void:
THE END OF ROCK AND ROLL!!!!
THE END OF ROCK AND ROLL!!!!
THIS MUST BE THE WAY!!!!
Surely it must be.................
