Artist History The Authentics are born in the summer of the ‘99. The idea of the group came from the minds of Ilija and Dean, respectively guitar and bass of the Authentics. One afternoon as so many drinking beers and listening to an old compilation Trojan, they both decided that was time to do something better and to form a group ska original. To the battery Jordan was called, also him lover of the Jamaican sound. To their were added Igor - the trumpet, Pitko - keyboard, Luka - tenor sax and Andrej - great showman with a powerful voice. In January 2000 Pitko leaves the band and enters Tilen, pole-instrumentalist that this time will have to play with the keyboards. One month later to the group are united Davor - alt saxophone and Fabio - trombone. Now the formation is complete. From that moment for the Authentics it is a continuous ascent and the concerts are more and more numerous. In November 2001 started the recordings of the first demo. The disk is ready in January 2002, we are searching the right label to publish it. From April 2002 it begins the collaboration with WWW.SKAVILLAGE.IT : the WebMaster mr.Alan is currently taking care of the Internet contacts of the group and soon will realize a Site entirely devoted to them!
