Artist History michael grew up in the great state of south carolina. south carolina is a diverse and beautiful state that would be a wonder of a place if it weren't still reeling in poverty from the post-traumatic stress of the civil war and america's insistence on keeping the south poor and ashamed of itself. sorry, i'm reading some history books right now and i can't help it.
