Artist History
The name just might throw you off at first. Hell, I don’t even know what it means all I know is good quality music and Luxie isn’t the band that you will hear that from ~ just kidding.
Luxie's original sound and their powerful songwriting niche creates an energy that will remind you what great music does for the soul. Ok, honestly, Luxie's originality might not suit the "Sunday Church Goers", but for you Black Sabbath fans, Tool worshipers, and great Rock 'n Roll lovers, Luxie will get your attention.
Formed by chance and persistence in April of 2001, drummer Marc Clemente was introduced to vocal/guitar player Davor Panic by an old friend and musician of Marc’s who left Luxie to pursue other avenues, while leaving the trio to a 2 piece. Luxie experienced many ins and outs with bass players for the next 6 months or so. This did not discourage Davor or Marc from continuing practicing and writing with diligence. The months droned on until one hot sunny day in December, Marc contacted an old band mate from the days back in the band Big Juicy, Steve Thomas. Steve had been previously been involved with Toast-n-Jam which had just disband, so at the end of 2001 Steve became the finally piece in the power trio Luxie!
Luxie can be found in their hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
Ready to experience Luxie? You should be!
