Press Reviews We at wvof 88.5 FM the "House of hardcore" have recently had the privilege of acquiring one of the most brutally original outfits demo, "Ellipsis." From the very first track on this three song demo you know these guys are not to be f**ked with. Hailing from Pennsylvania, Ellipsis has a style all there own. Ellipsis blend the most original mix of brutal beat down hardcore, with fast melodic metal, taking both genres and colliding them head on, never repeating, and always brutal. Ellipsis is defiantly an up and coming band not to be reckoned with. To put ellipsis in a category would be impossible, for they have a style all there own. In days of hardcore when everything seems to be going in the same direction and when metal is becoming boring, Ellipsis steps up to the plate to give you a wake up call slap across the face. With songs such as "Before the burial," and "Trust no one," and the most brutal song I have heard since slayers reign in blood, "Annihilate what's about to come" this three song offering will leave you thirsty for more, which is the only complaint I have of this demo. For a brutal mix of beat down hardcore/Candira style vocals/and heavy as f**k metal check out Ellipsis, they will not disappoint.
