Artist description
Sunjammer, while being a stupid name, is also the first and so far only Norwegian gabber export, with releases on UK labels Hardcore Crossbreed and Bloodshed unlimited, as well as featuring on prominent DJ Manu le malins compilation cd 13core vol.1.
The concept is to bring a certain level of softness and emotion to an otherwise barren and simpleminded genre bordering on tedium. The listening man's speedcore. |

Press Reviews
Sunjammer steps up to take control. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so nervous before a set. Because Andreas is from Norway, he has absolutely no feedback on his music Live. As in there is absolutely NOWHERE for him to play. It kind of puts things into perspective. We (I) complain constantly about the state of this scene. But at least we get a couple of Hardcore parties every month. Try being so damn talented with Hardcore music as he is, and having absolutely nowhere to play it. It makes you think, are things really that bad here? Anyway.
Andreas fucked people up. He started off with Nintendo Hybrid Hardcore, kicks and breaks like only HE makes. Pure beauty. He was worried that his set didn’t flow. It didn’t, and that was the beauty behind it. It was utter chaos. The music was so damn good, that the 100 bpm differential of tracks dropping in and out, made it sound so fucking beautiful it’s unreal. I, was, in, my element. I know all of his tracks, I got to jump around like a loon. Not a lot of people know his tracks, and they still jumped around like Loons. He is so damn talented. Went through a ton of shit from Hccb02, played forthcoming stuff on Man@Arms and Hccb04. I nearly blacked out during the Hound, that track, makes me wanna fucking hurt people. It came to an end all to quickly, but what a fucking ending. He dropped Satan from Man@Arms 01. And people started shouting along with it. Saaaaaaaaaaattttttttaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn, Saaaaaaaaaaattttttttaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn, SATAN ALLLLLL WAYS WINS!!! Wooooo Hooooo! I dunno about the dancefloor, but there must have been like 10 people in the DJ box screaming along with it. I could have cried. One of the best hours of music I’ve witnessed. If you missed it, you’re a fucking idiot.
