Artist description
In the summer of 2001, "Misstafyin'" and "The Chameleon" musically reunited to form the super production team D'Xecutives. A dynamic duo that specializes in "music fusion" which is the combination of many music styles to obtain a unique and original result. Their secret mission is to 'take over the world' with their "fusion sound."
Misstafyin' and The Chameleon are self proclaimed '80s kids'. "That's the music period with grew up in," states The Chameleon. "That's also when music was diverse and free. You could hear a lot of versatility on one radio station or even from one artist." "We grew up with that mentality and that sound and that same thought process remains in our work today," Misstafyin' adds. "We just know how to flip the beats for today's listeners."
They will be producing the next Protégée CD which is set for an early 2002 release. The CD is entitled BLACK WIDOW and will be the first official D'Xecutives production. They've also been contracted to produce and write for a handful of artists already including the next Tori Fixx CD as well. This proves that they are already in high demand and that they are truly the next big thing to go down in music. In the 2 double 02 there will be a 'musical execution' and a new sound will take over the airwaves and the dance floors, but no need to panic. it'll only be D'Xecutives. |

Artist History
Misstafyin' and The Chameleon met back in a Minneapolis jr. high school where they first began writing music together. They developed their skills over the years and in '95 The Chameleon headed to California where he released 2 solo albums over the years to follow. Misstafyin' would also drop her first album under another alias.
The two were very successful as solo artists, but it was time to turn up the volume a few notches. With so many lessons learned, a new focus, a few CD releases under their belts, and their skills completely polished, The Chameleon and Misstafyin' joined forces again to form D'Xecutives and quickly began work on a new sound and new material.
