Artist History
Formed in 1997 Corkskrew quickly hit the Maltese music scene
with Jumping Genes a catchy pop song with crunching chorus. Quickly followed
by a second promo single called 'Slap Me' Corkskrew asserted their place in
the local scene as a band that takes music making very
seriously.
After some line up changes Corkskrew emerged with
a sound that embraced electronica even more.
More promo singles followed but an album production
remained elusive, until finally in late 2001 Corkskrew
decided that enough was enough and that making an album
was the way to go. |
