Artist History
In an Industry filled with repetition its always good to know there’s someone willing to step out of the circle and take control, an artist of this caliber usually changes the way we think, feel and dance so much so he had to be called X-Caliba.
Lamar (X-Caliba) Taylor started his career at a tender age of 12, writing songs and performing became second nature to the young artist releasing his first album with a group called 7.1.9. which gave him an underground Buzz on the Midwest hip hop scene.
A few years later the group split up and X-Caliba release another maxi single under the name Smoove of the group/duo Smoove & Scorpio. Because of personal and business problems the smoove & Scorpio project didn’t take off but that didn’t stop caliba from pursuing his dream. “Moving back to Miami was the best thing for me”. Caliba says; now with a new production company (Songo Sounds Records, Inc. in collaboration with Liazon Entertainment Corp., and Miami Talent Services Inc., taking care of all promotions and marketing) a new attitude, and a new album X-Caliba is ready to do what he is destine to do rearrange the game. Backed by his producer and group member of Urban Legendz (a group with X-Caliba & Don Matta). Don Matta brings a strong variety of melodic hip hop tracks. Featuring echo from the lab studios, Puerto Rico on 3 tracks to give the album a twist on the production side. |
