Press Reviews
Move over Glasseater cause there’s a new band
in town. Waiting Theory. These guys have amazing
musical talent, and put on a hell of a show.
This band definitely makes you want to jump on
your feet and do something. The backbone of the
band seems to lie in the drummer’s insane
abilities. Victor’s drums basically dictate
almost every riff change in their songs. Then
the rhythms are handed down to the bass player
Jonathan, he displays incredible control over
his instrument as he frolics around with his
cordless bass. The great guitar synchronizations
are presented by Dwayne and Fernando. Its as if
they were both in the same womb or something.
And last but certainly not least is there
singer/mosher Ricky, who displays the most stage
presence I’ve seen in a while. Now for a little
history lesson. Waiting Theory started about 2.5
years ago under the name "the hand-me-downs."
The founding members being Ricky, Fernando, and
Victor played as a punk trio. In months, Jon was
acquired to play the role of bass guitarist.
About a year ago, Dwayne was the final member to
join the picture. And the rest is soon to be
history. A while ago I recall someone saying
that Waiting Theory would be the next Milkshed.
Almost instinctively I laughed and said “sure
buddy” but now I definitely consider it a strong
possibility. Review done by "the Florida Punx Page" |
