Artist History Sidanik is New Mexico based soundscape artist Joseph Angelo. Joseph began performing noise and ambient music in 1999 as Choking on Roses. Since then he has performed as Transparent and Obsidian Mirror. Notable performances include: the Denver Atonal Festival 3 at the Chernobyl Tone Gallery, an Acoustic Ambient Concert at St. Johns College in Santa Fe, NM, Oscillation Festivals one and two at the Harwood Art Center and the Amethyst Luna gallery in Albuquerque, NM. Sidanik was also featured in the 2003 International Aether Festival.
