Artist description
Darkour is a name that come from online multyplayer
games like Quake etc, meant to strike fear into the
hearts of enemies it doesn't quite describe all my music
but is apt for some.
Darkour is currently a one man band and will probably stay that
way for a while.
This is the stuff I make at home..It ranges from floydesque
rippoffs to dark minimal techno and a fair whack of
new school trip hop and funky breaks....ahh, so there.
Darkours home studio is up to most tasks, so stay tuned for
lots more kiddies. |

Artist History
Darkour, or Paul as most people call him, in fact all.
Has been writing and producing music for over ten years.
Starting with school bands (sax/euphonium) then a bad kawai keyboard at home,
he then progressed to an Amiga 500 in 1989 giving the 15 year old his first taste
of sampling and electronic manipulation. A year later an Atari St and Cubase teamed
up with a D50 and a korg M3r would push the boy frequently into fits of programming delight.
But that was not enough. Fullfilling all his childhood dreams of looking like vangelis he now
has a roomfull of gear that can do just about anything in the audio world.
Paul also has just started writing for student films which is a step
in the right direction for this eclectic lad.
