Artist History JOAQUÍN TABOADA is a piano Professor and Superior Professor of Music and Accompaniment. As a composer, he participated in the II Festival of New Music together with Michael Nyman and others in San Sebastian(Spain) in 1991, performing several concerts the same year. He was the founder of the group Quorum of versions for piano, voice and chelo. In 2001 he records in CD "Música vespertina", a recopilation of compound topics during all these year. STULTIFERA NAVIS: Stultifera Navis is a musical project to interpret the music of J.Taboada live. At present he is carrying out a series of concerts in Navarra and Basque Country, and is still giving life and movement to Musica Vespertina's musical notes and other topics not yet recorder but yes in project to became a part of his CD number two.. STULTIFERA NAVIS is formed by: Joaquín Taboada (piano), Unai Otegui (flute), Diego Jimenez (clarinet), Victor Castillo (acordeon, keyboards) and Juanjo Ojeta (bass, guitar). This is an open project which believes that the compositions of J. Taboada can be performed by him as well as by an indefinite number of musicians, making the audience participate too. This work has received excellent critical in several regional newspapers soon after its presentation in the Assembly hall of the Room of Culture of Peralta (Navarra) the 8th February.

Additional Info In the short period of time that this songs have been in Internet ( I uploaded them on April the 20th) all of them have been in the first eight positions in New Age Charts of VITAMINIC Spain and VITAMINIC USA. Evocación and Lluvia have been nº 1 in the Various chart of both countries and Evocación reached the tenth position in USA general Chart and the second position in Spain general chart. (and they are still in the first places). I have also been as first artist of new age in the list World of SOUNDCLICK and also in the list of BESONIC have been nº 1 in new age Spain, nº2 in Canada and nº4 in USA charts. Here in MP3.COM Alas was nº 1 in New Age (global), Habanera Invernal and Calma nº 1 in Classical Piano (Europa) and Zortziko nº1 Irati was nº1 in Folk charts (Europa). I hope you like it.
