Artist description
Il progetto TEMPLE OF VENUS nasce a Bologna nel lontano 1984.
Da allora tanti concerti e tanti cambi di formazione in un gruppo che deve il nome addirittura ai Joy Division, in quanto si narra fosse uno di quelli da essi scartati prima di rinominarsi New Order.
Con tali riferimenti, la band non poteva che essere associata al filone new-wave / post rock; i testi sono sempre stati orgogliosamente in inglese.

TEMPLE OF VENUS are born in Bologna in 1984.
Since then, a lot of concerts and lot of changes in a band that probably owe its name even to the legendary Joy Division, as it was among the discarded ones when they decided to name themselves as New Order.
As you will guess, the band loves new-wave and post rock music; our lyrics have always proudly been in english. |
