Artist History
Esposito was an 11 piece group formed by songwriters Dino Houtas and Paul Cooke, in 1985.........
The name "Esposito", (meaning literally `without a place`), was chosen to reflect the cosmopolitan influence of the groups music, a carefull blend of jazz, blues and soul to create a sound that`s equally at home in a crowded nightclub or an in-car stereo.
Not seeking to fit into any neat compartment, the emphasis is firmly on the music - not so much a crossover, more an awareness of the variety of influences that determine modern dance sounds.
With Houtas and Cooke`s own original songs, the ESPOSITO live set includes William DeVaughn`s "Just Be Thankfull" and a new version of the 1959 Miles Davis classic "All Blues"
