Artist History Bear Upstairs Studio was born on September 1, 2000. My first project was a vinyl to mylar rendering of some old albums a friend owned. I had the technology and the software to do the rendering. I found the whole process intriguing. I began doing custom sound effects for Dallas area theatrical organizations. I also did karaoke performance tracks for friends. My first true original recording project was a live harp performance by a friend. That particular recording is not ready for release, but I have other things that are.
