Artist History
Straight from the land of Beemers and Birkenstocks, affectionately known as Radnor, pennsylvania, Suburban Homicide is another new band to look out for. Mainly Punk, with influences from other worlds (the likes of emocore, nordicore, ska, and good old jam band shit), no one can tack them a label, because when you get right down to it, they don't sound like anyone else. Although they are still groping for summer shows and label sponsorship, these guys have been playing together, in different arenas, for longer than they'd like to think about it. The Lead Guitar, Greg Terrinoni, moved up from Maryland and an illustrious career with his old ska outfit, Suckerpunch, to Radnor 2 years ago, and met the rest of the boys through good old RHS. Lead vocalist and BAssist, Alex Brown and Vincent J. Calvarese the third, respectively, have been attempting quality music since 8th grade. They're still not sure they'ce achieved their goal. The Drummer and the second guitar, Mike Kauffman and Justin Crowell, respectively (once more, but not as respectfully) were an accident. They play with the rest in the school jazz ensembles, and decided to play punk only recently. They are miserably mistreated by the rest of the band, partially because they lack committment, but mainly due to the fact that they are hippies.
Anyway, this up-and-coming band hopes to make its mark this summer, and in years to come. so watch out, Homicide is in the house. |
