Artist History
The Rockers/Reggae vocals that Lil Big Don (Donald Wilcox) has come to master began as a fun hobby for him. With time, he developed his musical skills by recording and producing his own music at home. K-Nice (Kenneth McMillian) brought his hip-hop lyrics to the table in 1995. And with this unique blend of rhythm and socially conscience lyrics, AYAT was born. While continuing with their own works as solo artists, Don and K-Nice began spending more and more time together developing the AYAT sound. The addition of live instruments to the group marked a major progression for them. Bassist Jock Dancy (Bassman JD), Don’s cousin, came aboard and brought guitarist Eric Duncan (E-Double) to the mix.along with IAN LUCY(THE WONDER BOY)AND,TRAVIS O'SHAUNESSY(T-BABY).
