    Artist description
Brian hails from the small south Georgia town of Statesboro. His father gave him a drum set at age seven, and they have been jamming ever since. At thirteen he hit the stage with his first rock band, playing a mix of covers and originals. Living in a college town gave Brian the opportunity to start paying his dues at weekly parties and nightly bar gigs. Brian had cut his teeth on the 'boro music scene and decided to hit the Atlanta-Athens circuit with a new band, Grain. Grain debuted with great acclaim at the 40 watt, even striking tracks on an Athens-Atlanta compilation disk, giving them national air-play. Grain was a three piece band with the talents of Ryan Kelly (Dayroom) on bass and Jason Buecker (Josh Joplin) on drums. Their success took them on a tour that covered the southeast. They played local area clubs with routine bookings: Cotton Club, Masquerade, Eddie's Attic, the Point and Frijoleros. Grain decided to pursue separate paths after three years of playing together as a band. They still collaborate on projects. Brian wrote and performed the soundtrack to the national award winning independent film "The Redneck Vampire." He has also had his music on the popular MTV series "Undressed." This demo is Brian's first solo attempt. He has written, played and produced all of the songs in his home studio. Brian plans to finish recording his first solo disk and start touring with his new band. brian@brianbice.com P 404.373.5502 ©2002 Brian Bice

I decided, against my better intentions, to take a more practical, though less personal, approach and make-do with a consolidated expression of gratitude. All of you have heaped upon me more encouragement, support, advice, motivation, inspiration, friendship and love than I could ever deserve. I am immeasurably and ineffably grateful. thanks to ========= my parents Billy and Florence Ann Bice, my sister Julie, all of my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents, Keith and Alisan Royster, Pam Buecker, Mitch and Jen Warren, Michael W.
