Artist History
Amy started singing as a little girl in Tucson, Arizona in school choir and plays. She attended acting school and grew up dreaming of becoming a star. She sang in a band and performed at the Maverick and many other places in Tucson and placed first and second in many competitions. Eventually Amy moved to Nashville to try and make it big. She sang with Daryl Singleterry at the Broken Spoke in Nashville as soon as she got there! She signed up for every contest she came across and placed 1st or 2nd in all of them. Waking up in the morning and starting her day live on the radio for Country 102 as a morning show personality and working a full-time job as a bookkeeper she was able to meet interesting people to push her along. She produced her own music in the production studio at the radio station and made her demo. Passing out demo after demo and singing around Nashville, RCA, EPIC, COLUMBIA and many other labels were coming her way! Shane Stenstrom handed her these two songs "Was It Something I Said" and "If I Could Look Into Your Eyes". She immediately jumped into the studio with Gary Oleyar in Hendersonvile, TN. The songs ended up turning several sets of ears. The song aired on the radio as soon as it hit the radio station. It played on several radio stations in Nashville, Tucson and also in Dallas. Now here she is... Enjoy the voice. |
