Artist History
Dave O'Shani(vocals/guitar) has known Jeremy Finney(drums) since 9th grade when they played together in some talent shows and other local bands around Brandon, FL. Dave O'Shani left Brandon to move to Nashville and Los Angeles chasing his dream of music and performance ( www.mp3.com/daveoshani ). Along the while, Jeremy still played but focused more on his career choices and starting a family with his beautiful bride Laura. Dave returned to Tampa only to put his guitar aside for a little while and getting into Disc Jockeying at local clubs. While working at a record store, Dave met Nuri Gocay(Bass/Keys)a fellow disc Jockey and developed a friendship spinning parties and events together. When Dave graduated college, he decided to focus on his music again and talked to his best friends about starting a group. Jeremy was excited about the idea, and Nuri (who had previous instrument experience unknown to Dave) volunteered to play Bass. After only 4 months of preparation this new band was ready to perform. They wanted to nbe known as simplistic pop.. Rock with no effects or crazy background instruments. They figured: "This is going to be fun." They wanted a positive outgoing name and came up with Dave's most repetitive slogan: AWESOME. |
