Artist description
Steve Wilson's music career began at the age of 13 when he picked up his first guitar and learned to play it by ear. Steve's musical talent matured as he played in several bands during high school and college and playing shows with bands like Dollybraid, Carb, Twin Jewels among other Texas bands currently gaining notoriety in the National music scene. Although best known for his shows in Denton, Texas, Steve is now making his name known in Austin, Waco and other Texas cities. He's become a singer/songwriter whose music is compared to Creed, Seven-Mary-Three and Matchbox 20. His music combines heartfelt lyrics with rythmic guitar riffs telling stories of his own life and those of his close friends. His first two-song EP, "16 Days" has sold out and he's currently working on a 10-song, full-length CD due out by fall '02. |
