Artist History
The style and originality of this five-piece band has been steadily propelling them upward in the vast world of music. With the exceptional power and energy generated from these four individuals, they capture the audience with their sound, and captivate them with their stage presence. The band originated in 1998 and have since headlined several shows throughout Northern California, including some very highly publicized events. They have played with bands such as: Papa Roach, Jonah's Onelinedrawing (member of Far), Arthur, MxPx, The Juliana Theory, Ours, Simon Says, Oleander, and Shortie. This year, Long Drive home has gotten much recognition from the community. They won Central California's Battle of the Bands competition in April of 2000, which was followed by an in depth interview of the band on SJTV in Stockton, California. They have also appeared live on Sacramento's KWOD 106.5: "Sound of Sacramento" which is hosted by Dave Connelly. Although it seems that these are great accomplishments, it is only the beginning for this up and coming band. Long Drive home has recently recorded their second and full length album entitled "Black Pocket T-Shirt" which was recorded at Velvetone Studios in Sacramento, CA.
