Artist description
Dan has been writing and performing since the early 1980s and has performed, collaborated and opened on stage with many music industry legends. Dan has been a regular on the Greenwich Village bar scene for years packing the house at NYC clubs (Kennys Castaways, The Bitter End and CBGBs, etc.,) colleges up and down the Eastern seaboard and been the opening act for many well known bands. Dans writing is filled with strong, gritty imagery and the music is founded on a hybrid of rock and blues. The live show is powerful, energetic and relentless. There have been countless stylistic and performance analogies made between Dan and Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, John Mellencamp and more recently bands like Train and The Wallflowers. |
