Artist description
Openmindedness is one of my trademarks. Primarily I'm a keyboard player and programmer with self-taught skills. I like improvising, but most of the things I've done during the last two years have been dance-oriented and extensively programmed. I'm currently taking up more guitar playing and I've just about come up with an electronic hybrid, a kind of house oriented music with focused melodies ( "sing-a-long" )and harmonies, within quite simple structures. I'm trying to combine intelligible lyrics and ideological content with powerful and moving music. That is to say: I'm trying to appeal to a mass audience that likes to be entertained as well as experience some kind of substance. I could call my music pop, but then I also have to emphasize my experimental and wide-ranging side which hopefully will keep me developing creatively. I'm considering including a female vocalist and maybe a guitarist/ percussionist/ programmer/ co-writer. In short: I'm on my way... |

Artist History
I started out about 1990 on my Amiga. From then I moved on to synths, having briefly learned the organ some years earlier. I joined a rock band, "Idyll" in 1993 at age 18. From there I moved on playing keys in a kind of hard rock, electronic band with some 90's irony and queen around. "Violet" lasted as an augumented duo from 1994 to 1998. One appearance with three songs in 1993 was all we ever did live. We were exploring the world of tape recordingSplitting up without getting anywhere in particular, we went separate ways. I turned electronic and found my roots in electronic pop. Combined with my recent experiences with Violet, the electronic pop elements made a hybrid music form. In 2000 I bought a PC, in 2003 I bought another one. Now I'm almost broke and I want your money... :-) |
