A seven-piece band founded in Berkeley, Za'atar plays
vibrant Mizrahi (middle eastern) Jewish music. Members
collect and arrange its musical repertoires, and combine
traditional instruments and arrangements with extensive
improvisation to present an uplifting musical experience. |
