Artist description
The instrumentation of the band sets it apart from the traditional quartet. The mix of drums and percussion, piano, violin, and altered nylon string guitar create a strong experimental setting. Jonathan had a custom guitar designed to facilitate his style of playing. The guitar is set up like a standard nylon string guitar, but two pick-ups are installed on the bridge: one recieves the signal from the two bass strings while the other picks up the four guitar strings. This has allowed for a complete separation of the bass and guitar while permitting him to play the two simultaneously. |
