Artist History
Uneven Ground began as "The Fishstick Kitties", a new-oldies band, in February, 1995. In 1996 the band evolved to a much heavier sound, along the lines of Alice In Chains or Metallica. At this point the name was changed to Uneven Ground. After about 1 year on hiatusthe band was reformed and now has a progressive Hard Rock/Hardcore/Rapcore Soundand is beginning to take the bands'local area by storm. |

Press Reviews
Up and Coming... from everywhere! You don't often find a band that puts Jazz and Grindcoreinto the same set, let alone the same song. That'sJust a hint as to the sounds and sights brought forwardby Uneven Ground. From the initial spoken word pieceto the final feedback riddled finger breaking chord, these guys are something to be observed. Uneven Groundis the sonic version of a mystery movie. While theymaintain a generally heavy sound, they seem almost todespise predictability. The stage show is another thing altogether. FromHandcuffs and headbanging to blinking televisions, you will be mesmerized... |
