    Press Reviews
"The album has a dreamlike essence to it, an ethereal quality that brings a sense of urgency and deeper meaning to the songs. Rusch uses spooky tones similiar to Chris Rhea or the Church to paint a somber and introspective backdrop, which suits the lyrics here just fine...Rusch's love of nature and gentle disdain for the trappings of a greed-driven society inform and enhance the carefully flowing poetics that infuse his songs." CHRISTOPHER HESS, AUSTIN CHRONICLE "Western Life is a great song I've been listening to it for days." MARC SHEPARD (MP3 Listener) "Out of the influences that Todd lists, Neil Young stands out most strongly in his playing and singing style, though there are hints of Lennon (John, that is) in there too! His vox are very interesting, breathy whisper kinda' stuff! Strong rhythms on the guitars and percussions...style is sorta' "retro-hippie-futuristic", if yer' gotta put it in a class. Hell, I gotta' contact rush on the title track from his CD "Signpost of Destiny". Gets both a highly recommended and a HOT pick." DICK METCALF MP3 Reviewer
